Welcome to Terrace. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Terrace is provided by Billy Meli, an independent developer based in the United States ("we", "us"). You can contact us at contact@terracesports.app.

House rules

Terrace is for banter, not abuse. Every fan agrees to these rules when they sign up:

You can report any post, comment or fan, and block anyone so you no longer see each other. Moderators review reports and remove content that breaks these rules, usually within 24 hours, and may suspend or ban accounts responsible.

How moderation works

Each community has volunteer moderators, overseen by Terrace's admins. They act on reports and on what they see themselves, and can remove posts and comments, pin posts, and suspend or ban accounts from a community or from Terrace. Automated tools help: before you post, the app can flag a message that looks abusive so you can rethink it, and AI can check claims in busy threads. A post or comment reported by three different fans is hidden automatically until a moderator reviews it. Otherwise, a person makes every decision to remove content or suspend an account.

When we remove something you posted, you'll see that it was removed and why. If we suspend your account, we'll tell you why and for how long. If you think we got it wrong, tap Appeal on the removed post or comment, or email contact@terracesports.app, and someone who wasn't involved in the decision will look at it again. If you're in the EU, you can also take a dispute to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body.

Reporting illegal content

Anyone, with or without an account, can tell us about content they believe is illegal by emailing contact@terracesports.app. Please include a link to the post or comment (or the username), why you believe it's illegal, your name and email address (unless it concerns child sexual abuse material), and a statement that you're reporting in good faith. We'll confirm we've received it and let you know what we decided. This address is also our point of contact for authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, in English.

Your account

You must be 16 or older to create an account. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Choose a username that isn't offensive and doesn't impersonate anyone.

Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you give Terrace a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, share and adapt it (for example as a link preview) so the app can work. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to post it. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

The Gaffer (AI assistant)

AI features generate predictions, summaries and suggestions automatically. They can be wrong. Treat them as a bit of fun and a starting point, not as fact or advice. Daily limits apply.

Terrace Pro and purchases

Terrace Pro is a subscription, and some extras (such as kits, badge frames and Shouts) are one-off purchases. Apple processes every payment under its own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date; cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you're in the UK or EU, you agree that purchases are unlocked straight away, which means the 14-day right to cancel digital content ends once they are, though Apple may still offer a refund.

Predictions and games

Predictor Leagues and score predictions are free games for bragging rights. There's no money, no prizes and no gambling of any kind in Terrace.

Football data, clubs and trademarks

Terrace is an independent fan app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any club, league, federation or player. Club, league and competition names, crests and logos, and player names and images, belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify them. Football data is provided by API-Football and may occasionally be delayed or inaccurate. Match highlights and interviews are official videos from YouTube, played in YouTube's own player and found using the YouTube API Services; by watching them in Terrace you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and YouTube's handling of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. The videos belong to their publishers, and which ones are available can depend on where you are. If you own rights in something shown in Terrace and want it changed, email contact@terracesports.app.

The service

We work hard to keep Terrace running, but it's provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of Terrace. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Ending things

You can delete your account any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Apple

These terms are between you and Terrace, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Terrace or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement also applies to your use of the app.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where we're based. If you live in the UK, the EU or another country whose consumer laws protect you, you keep those protections, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it applies.
